When we visit you
We will need 90 minutes to do the assessment and meet you
and your household. We then go away and enter all the information into
the Green Loans Software which will then provide you with a report
showing where you will get the greatest savings and the most green "bang
for your buck".
Your personalised report will be with you within a few weeks of the
assessment!
The assessment report will give you access to an
INTEREST FREE loan of up to $10 000 to fit your home
with solar Hot water or Electricity, double glazing, and other energy
efficient products.
The report will be prioritized to make it clear to you what aspects of
your home can be improved to benefit the household by Improving the
value of the property, decreasing your bills and Increasing the
efficiency and comfort of your home.
Government Grants
On top of the

assessment worth $150-$250 there are some more ways you can make

from the government.

The Federal government is giving either:
- Insulation for your home up to $1600
- Solar Hot Water and the 1600 rebate as well as Renewable Energy
Certificates or REC's
NSW has rebates up to $3185 covering:
- up to $1500 for rainwater tanks connected to toilets and washing
machines
- up to $1200 to switch from electric to solar, heat pump or gas hot
water systems
- Half the cost of installing ceiling insulation in your home, to a
maximum of $300
- $150 for buying a 4.5 star or higher WELS rated washing machine
- $35 to have a second fridge removed from your home
